Counseling & Mediation Solutions works with many major insurance plans, including Medica, Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, UCare, and Medical Assistance. Participation can differ by provider and plan, so benefits should be verified before your first appointment.
Self-pay and health savings account payments may be available. Mediation, evaluations, wellness consultation, and some consulting services are generally private pay. Mediation fees and payment expectations will be discussed before services begin.
Before Your First Visit
- Call the member-services number on your insurance card.
- Ask whether the specific provider is in network.
- Confirm deductible, copay, and telehealth benefits.
- Ask the office about current self-pay or mediation arrangements.

Yes. Secure telehealth may be available for eligible clients located in Minnesota, depending on the provider and service. In-person appointments are also available in Forest Lake.
